“Today marks the day that my parents would be married for 69 years. They married in 1940 and honeymooned in Yosemite staying in a cottage that was at the base of Yosemite Falls. Our family’s love affair with Yosemite began with my mother’s parents coming to Yosemite for their honeymoon in 1913. All my parent’s children have spent a part of their honeymoon in Yosemite as well, thanks to a gift from our grandmother. Yosemite will forever be a place of grandeur, beauty and sweet memories for my family.
